The property maintenance officer carries out a varied role in our properties. No day is the same as appointments will vary from investigatory work to minor fixes to turning around void properties.

Due to the nature of the business. An understanding of some of the service users’ backgrounds is needed. Empathy for their situation is a trait that would support your application. As part of their Apprenticeship, the successful candidate will complete off-the-job training—dedicated learning that takes place during paid working hours and focuses on developing the skills and knowledge needed for the role. This includes structured activities such as workshops, online learning, shadowing, and practical training, ensuring they gain the full competence required to excel in the position while contributing effectively to the organisation. Predicted grades will be accepted. However, any offers made will be conditional, pending actual grades.
