We have an exciting opportunity for a Youth Leader to join our growing organisation. The role will focus on the direct engagement with young people in an alternative learning environment with some wider community work involved, this role will be a hybrid approach based at The POD in Ilkeston along with various venues in Kirk Hallam.

Need a current driving licence. Youth work is a rewarding career, but it can also be challenging. Youth workers often support young people facing complex issues such as mental health concerns, family difficulties, social isolation, or challenging behaviour. The role requires patience, resilience, good communication skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships. Working hours may include evenings and weekends to meet the needs of young people and community programmes. Ongoing training, reflective practice, and support from colleagues are important for maintaining professional well-being and delivering effective youth work.
