About the role

A fantastic opportunity to learn skills within a growing market. You'll learn to weld precision components for the semiconductor industry, with parts increasing in complexity as your abilities develop. Working with Stainless Steel and Aluminium, and other metals. Potential involvement in sand blasting, fettling, cleaning & assembly.

About SHROPSHIRE PRECISION ENGINEERING LIMITED

Shropshire Precision Engineering are an engineering company supplying into the Semiconductor sector. We provide 3, 4 & 5 axis milling and turning, mechanical and electrical assembly, welding, pressure testing and ultrasonic cleaning services on site. We are based across two units on Atcham Business Park (32 & 49). All assembly & testing is carried out in strictly controlled environments (clean rooms) and can only be accessed in the appropriate PPE, with no food or drink allowed. Regular refreshment breaks are provided. We have experienced significant growth in the past 5 years with 2/3 of our current workforce joining us during that time, and we predict similar levels of growth over the next 5 years which will create a variety of opportunities for new, incoming team members.
