About the role

Things to consider
The job requires working a ‘4 on – 4 off’ day/night shift pattern, where each shift is 12 hours, applicants must be 18 or over. <ul> <li>Some overtime shifts may be requested from time to time.<br><br></li> <li>To attend day release college.<br><br></li> <li>Some of the work involves the maintenance and/or replacement of awkwardly positioned equipment.</li> </ul> Other Requirements: <ul> <li>Ability to gain a Technical College qualification.<br><br></li> <li>Basic computing hardware, software and OS knowledge.<br><br></li> <li>An interest in mechanical and electrical engineering systems.<br><br></li> <li>A basic understanding and interest in Aviation and aircraft systems.<br><br></li> <li>PC experience (Word, Excel, etc). <br><br></li> <li>Fluent English language, written and spoken.</li> </ul> As with all apprenticeships, this requires a long-term commitment – there will be assignments and logbook entries to complete.
